Fanion is a family business, founded and created by me, Glenn Smith, my wife Tyler, and our daughters Madison and Chapin. Our family has always loved cooking together at home, and many of our favorite meals include onions in various forms, but each of us is sensitive to the eye-irritating fumes from chopping them! 

We had tried every "hack" the internet had to offer—using an extra-sharp knife, running it under ice-cold water, you name it. Nothing worked! One day, Glenn decided to take matters into his own hands. After two years of testing prototypes and perfecting the design, the Fanion was born. It's the only thing that consistently works!

Finally, there is a product to eliminate the problem that has plagued chefs (novice and professional) for centuries. Our friends, family, and customers all over the country love their Fanions, and we know you will too!
